DESCRIPTION: VTG Sterling MCM Etruscan Shadow of the Evening Sculpture Necklace Brooch ITALY
FEATURES:
Sculptural rendition of the famous Etruscan SHADOW OF THE EVENING sculpture in silver.  This mid century modern pendant necklace and brooch set features the elongated figure of a young male figure
known as the Ombre della Sera or 'Evening Shadow' c. 3rd Century BC.  Discovered in Volterra, Italy.  This jewelry set is handmade by Italian Firenze Artist Jewelry Silversmiths of CHILLERI FRANCESCO circa 1968.  The pendant is slightly larger and heavier than the brooch.
HALLMARKS: 800 (silver) 458 FI with a star hallmark for Chilleri Francesco, Firenze (Florence), Italy.   Chain is marked 925 ITALY.
CONDITION: In excellent condition.   Weight is 19 grams.
SIZE:  Chain is 18" long.  Pendant is 3.15" and the brooch is 2.70" long.  See pics.
