A Nice collection of 2 No. Indian FDC's on 100 century series issued in1972-73

Description

A nice collection of 2 number Indian First day covers  issued on 100 centenary of Indian great personalities in 1972 & 1973 .
One of the First Day cover is having stamps of 20 paisa on Sh. Vemana ( 3rd Century ), 20 paisa stamp on Sh. T . Prakash ( 1872-1957) ,20 Paisa stamp on Bhai Vir Singh ( 1872-1957) and Rs. 1.45 stamp on  Sh. Bertrand Russell (1872-1957). At the time of issue of these stamps a Refugee Relief  Surcharge of 5 NP was applicable on all the posts, so this FDC is also having a refugee relief  stamp  cancelled on the back.
Second First Day cover was issued and cancelled on 21/07/1973.This FDC is having stamps of 20 paisa on Sh.  Michael Madhudan Dutt (1824-1873),30 Paisa stamp on Sh. V.D. Paluskar (1872-1931),  50 Paisa stamp on Dr. Hansen Centenary of the Discovery of Leprosy Bacillus , Rs. 1.45 stamp on Nicolaus Copernicus ( 1473-1543) .Both the FDC's are in excellent condition.
